ikfe received “Hidden Champion Mainz“ award

In the framework of a research project of the City of Mainz business promotion agency, ikfe GmbH has been awarded the price of a “Hidden Champion“ in the category "Worldwide". Background of this investigation is the search for companies developing unique products featuring a high manufacturing penetration and using or creating niches in the market, thus staying on top throughout the world, Europe or Germany. Despite of that, they have a low level of recognition in the public which is meant in the title “Hidden Champion“.

ikfe CRO GmbH advances to an international

research partner

On September 11, 2008, the Department of Clinical Research of the Institute for Cinical Research and Development (ikfe GmbH) in Mainz has been turned into a seperate and independent company. Chief Executive Officer of the new ikfe CRO GmbH is Professor Andreas Pfützner, who has already lead ikfe GmbH to great achievements in the last ten years. Dr. Marco Grenningloh, Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for the operational project coordination. The objective of the spin-off is to expand ikfe CRO to become an international, competitive service provider in the field of clinical research. By this move, the profound clinical research know-how is going to be extended beyond the exisiting clinical specialization in diabetology, cardiovascular disease and oncology to international projects also in other indications.
